World Migratory Bird Day with the KPL, Bird Friendly KW and Michael Mesure I
October 8 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Free
Join us as we mark World Migratory Bird Day with a special screening of two moving Canadian documentaries;
FLAP Canada’s “When Worlds Collide” and Su Rynard’ “The Messenger”
World Migratory Bird Day is an opportunity for education, reflection and action! Following the films our co-chairs Grace and Maria will host a discussion and Q&A with Michael Mesure, the cofounder of FLAP Canada and current director. Michael has been actively advocating for bird safe building standards and raising awareness about the lethal effects of glass and light pollution for 30 years.
Save the date, October 8th. Tickets are free but limited, reserve yours today HERE
*NOTE! You MUST register through the KPL link above.
If it is good for birds, it is good for people. See you out there!
